ASSURANCE

Assurance is designed to “assure” the report reader that data contained in a social and environmental report is correct, and even more importantly, that the report is written according to the principle of materiality, i.e. that it addresses the most important issues for the business and for stakeholders. The most advanced and widely-used Standard covering the Assurance of Sustainability Reports is the AccountAbility AA1000APS principles standard and the AA1000AS assurance standard (see Accountability website for details).

Elaine Cohen, joint CEO of BeyondBusiness, has completed relevant training with Accountability and earned registered certification as an Associate Sustainability Practitioner, qualified to assure CSR reports, registration with IRCA no: 01191845.

BeyondBusiness completed the first assurance of a report produced in Israel, published by Motorola Israel in 2008.
