BeyondBusiness will write
Sustainability Report for: Access Israel

As part of our own social and environmental responsibility, BeyondBusiness has pledged to write a sustainability report for one non-profit organization in Israel. The organization that was chosen, is: Access Israel.

Access Israel, headed by Yuval Wagner, is currently celebrating its 10th year of impressive activity in promoting awareness and implementation of the rights of handicapped persons and in developing employement solutions for them. We are proud to begin the reporting process with this organization and expect to publish the fascinating report during 2010.

Stakeholders wishing to take part in the reporting process are invited to contact Elaine Cohen via e-mail.

 1/9/09:

One Sustainability Report for One Non-profit Organization
Free of Charge

A BeyondBusiness Social Responsibility Initiative

BeyondBusiness, the leading csr reporting firm in Israel, is stepping up its positive impact. In order to create greater awareness and commitment for social and environmental responsibility in Israel, BeyondBusiness will offer its professional services free of charge to one Israeli non-profit organization with a social or environmental mission. BeyondBusiness will assist the organization in preparing for reporting process, map current practices, collate information, write and guide the production of a Sustainability Report – all totally free of charge. A panel of corporate CSR Managers will select the NGO who will win the free report.

This program provides BeyondBusiness with the opportunity to increase its positive impact by introducing the reporting concept to Israeli non-profits, and represents another pioneering initiative for BeyondBusiness in the local market. Not only will this provide benefit for a non-profit organization, the program also offers the opportunity to CSR Managers to make their contribution in the selection of the non-profit. BeyondBusiness expects that this will be the start of greater awareness of sustainability in the non-profit sector in Israel, and further expansion of reporting efforts by these organizations.

The way it works:

The Report:

  • Will meet GRI A level of reporting, and will be submitted for application level approval by the GRI
  • Will be written in Hebrew (and partially translated into English in order to enable a GRI check )
  • Will be designed in simple, aesthetic PDF format, no advanced graphic design
  • Will cover activities in 2009 for publication latest end July 2010

The Non-Profit Organization:

  • Is a registered non-profit in Israel, operating for at least three years, employing over 10 employees in Israel
  • Promotes a social or environmental cause (not a professional association)
  • Has its offices in the center of Israel
  • Is prepared to cooperate through all stages of the reporting process, including dialog with stakeholders
  • Is prepared to supply BeyondBusiness with all necessary data.
  • Will pay the required sum to the GRI for the application level check

Selection of the Non-Profit:

  • Will be made by a panel of CSR Managers from different companies, invited by the joint CEOs of BeyondBusiness
  • Will refer to Report Requests on the BeyondBusiness official form (in Hebrew) submitted by the non-profits. The form includes the reasons the non-profit would like to publish a sustainability report.
  • Is a decision made by the panel of CSR Managers, that BeyondBusiness will accept as final

Timeframe:

  • Report Requests will be accepted until end September 2009
  • The non-profit organization will be selected by end October 2009
  • The reporting process will begin on November 1, 2009
